Western Sun Foundation × Propeller Premier

Turn every Goose show into steady, year-round support.

Western Sun already transforms shared passion into action, one show at a time. Premier makes it automatic - a recurring membership that turns fans into monthly members, rewards them for showing up, and sends the funding straight to the causes you champion.

The opportunity

You're already doing this - by hand.

At every run, your volunteers set up a table, a QR code, a $25 suggested donation, a few limited-edition pins. It works - because Goose fans want to give.

Premier takes that exact instinct and makes it year-round, automatic, and rewarding. The fan who dropped $25 at the merch tent becomes a $10-a-month member who keeps giving long after the lot clears - and never has to be standing at the table to do it.

How Premier works

Three steps. Then it runs on its own.

A simple mechanic that quietly compounds every time the band tours.

1

Fans become members

We design and build a Western Sun club page in your brand. Fans join in one tap and give monthly - no volunteer, no table, no app required.

2

They get something back

Members unlock rewards, sweepstakes, and once-in-a-tour experiences - a signed setlist, a meet-and-greet, a pair of tickets. This is why recurring giving sticks.

3

The money reaches your causes

Funds flow through a 501(c)(3) platform straight to Western Sun - Music Education, Music Therapy, Women & Children's wellbeing, and Climate. The four you already fund.

What fuels the program

Two engines: one spikes, one compounds.

The monthly membership is the base - but it grows fastest when big tour moments pour new members into it. Sweepstakes and in-venue do the acquiring; the recurring program keeps them.

Flyaway sweepstakes

A grand-prize experience - flights, tickets, meet the band - that any fan can enter with a donation. Our single biggest source of new members and email sign-ups. When Goose donates the experience, almost the entire raise goes to acquisition and cause.

In-venue

QR codes on the screens, entry moments, and on-site sign-ups at the shows you already table. The fans in the room convert best - this scales, and tracks, the hand-run tabling you do today.

…into the monthly base

Every supporter these two engines bring in can roll into recurring monthly giving - the number that compounds tour over tour. Acquire at the spike, keep them all year.

The flywheel: tour → sweepstakes + in-venue capture new members → they give monthly all year → next tour, do it again, bigger.

The financials - costs, our percentage & payouts

What it costs Western Sun: nothing up front. Ever.

No fees, no minimums, no software cost. Propeller earns 15%, only when you raise. Western Sun keeps about 78-80% of every gift.

$10$7.81$93.72
$25$19.90$238.80
$50$40.05$480.60

250 members at $25/month is about $59,700 a year, renewing on its own.

Different campaigns, different math

Sweepstakes and in-venue feed the base and carry their own costs, always netted from the raise, never invoiced.

In-venue15% + 2% OCFMinimalWarmest conversions

Same fee everywhere; what changes is the costs. On a sweepstakes the promotion and prize come out first, so net-to-cause runs lower than a clean monthly gift, but you gain supporters you keep all year. Measure it by members gained. Either way, your downside stays zero.

How payouts work

Money in, money out, all visible.

Received & disbursed

Donations are received by Our Change Foundation, a 501(c)(3) platform, which disburses the net to Western Sun on a regular monthly schedule.

Receipts handled

OCF issues a tax acknowledgment to every donor automatically - one less thing for your volunteers to chase.

Real-time dashboard

You watch members, dollars, and which campaigns are driving them live - no waiting on a quarterly report to know where you stand.

What a partnership asks of each side

Small asks. Big leverage.

This only works as a true partnership - so here's exactly what we'd ask of the foundation and of the band, in plain terms.

From Western Sun

The organization

  • Approve the partnership. A simple license agreement that lets us build, run, and promote the program on your behalf.
  • Share your story. Brand assets and a short, donor-shareable impact update each quarter (monthly is even better). Members stay because they see what their money does.
  • Help us promote. A few emails and social posts at launch and around tours. You bring the audience; we bring the machine.
  • Move with us. A roughly 7-business-day turnaround on approvals so momentum doesn't stall.
  • OptionalOffer a member reward or sweepstakes. We handle all the compliance and fulfillment.

From Goose

The band - light touch, high leverage

  • A blessing & the fan connection. Permission to build this around the community that already travels with the band. That's the whole engine.
  • A little reach. An occasional post, story, email mention, or link in bio - even a word from the stage. One post from the band outperforms weeks of ads.
  • High impactAn experience to give away. A signed item, a soundcheck, a meet-and-greet, a pair of tickets. This is the single biggest driver of recurring members.
  • OptionalLet us be where you already are. A QR code on the screens, a line in the tour email, a spot for WSF at the merch table.

The band never has to carry it. A handful of moments a year does the work - the foundation and Propeller handle everything else.

How promotion works

We do the heavy lifting. You bring the reach.

P

Propeller brings

Done for you

  • A designed, on-brand club page - built for you, in the Western Sun look.
  • Paid advertising & retargeting that converts fans into members - cost comes out of the raise, never billed.
  • The rewards & sweepstakes engine, plus prize fulfillment.
  • Social graphics, email copy & campaign creative from our team.
  • Compliance & donor tax receipts, handled through OCF.
  • A real-time dashboard and ongoing impact reporting.

You & Goose bring

The part only you can

  • The audience - your email list, your socials, and the fans in the room.
  • The authentic ask - a word from the band and the foundation lands harder than any ad ever could.
  • The story - what the money does, told in your own voice.

"So is promotion on us, or on you?"

Both, by design - and we carry the weight. We run the ads, build the creative, and manage the rewards. You and Goose bring the reach and the realness. Neither works nearly as well alone; together it compounds.
